THE YOGA...

.....Hatha yoga literally translated is "ha" meaning "sun" and "tha" meaning "moon". This refers to the balance of masculine aspects- active, hot, sun- and feminine aspects- receptive, cool, moon.

 

Yoga is a set of physical exercises (known as asanas or poses) & the sequences of these are designed to align your body. In our physical bodies we develop strength and flexibility. However we also learn to balance the mind by bringing our attention to our breath.

 

IS IT FOR ME?

Yes! Everyone can practice some form of yoga regardless of flexibility or strength. Its about the movement of the body with the breath in whatever form that takes.

My classes are for everybody and people of all ages and are designed to introduce you to yoga practice in a relaxed,safe and comfortable environment.

Most importantly my aim is for you to leave class feeling stretched, relaxed and happy and to hopefully progress in a way that you weren't expecting!
