ME-YBN (Kirsty)...

.....9-5pm Monday to Friday, I have my "day job" in the investment industry & by night, I do yoga. Like most people, I lead a busy lifestyle however yoga enables me to find balance & also allows me time for myself. I took the decision to complete my teacher training so that I could hopefully pass on my love for yoga but also to bring a little bit of balance to other people's lives-even if it is just for an hour!

 

I spend a large proportion of my time sitting at a desk hunched over a computer and when I'm not there, I'm glued to my phone or sat on my beloved sofa in front of the tv. I know what it's like to feel stiff and sore. And as more and more of us are living this increasing sedentary lifestyle, I'm passionate about helping people to stretch and move their bodies through yoga practice. 

 

I try to attend as many classes as my schedule allows & when it doesn't I practice at home. I enjoy many different kinds of yoga including yin, vinyasa & restorative and I use this to inspire my classes.

OTHER STUFF

  • 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200) with Yoga Alliance Professionals.

  • Level 3 Diploma in Teaching Yoga from awarding body Active IQ through Stretch Body Mind.
